It's been no bed of roses

This picture would have more meaning if Vic's graduations were shortly after the end of the academic year, as in America. In fact, my first graduation (tonight) prefaces six more months of hard work, and my second (a year from now) will come after six months of real life. Graduation, for Vic alumni, does not mark a clear life transition.
