One flash of light

The CTU were very prompt in responding to my email enquiry, although they were at pains to point out that their job is to represent workers, not answer the questions of students. The gist of what they said is that they don't have much of an archive, and anyway it's only accessible by written application (which I don't have time for), and the PSA has a much better library and have I thought of trying the National Library?

To this last, of course, the answer is of course. I'm going there tomorrow morning. If they can't help me, I'll switch the focus of my research to the 228 policy documents (dated 1997-2008) that are publicly available on the CTU website. That time period is recent enough that it should be easier to get my hands on examples of other types of material, and then I'll have plenty to go on with.
