Bitches, they come, they go

There is this long to go until the end of university.

At that time I'll have posts remaining on exam results, Honours class, and any final reflections on my time at university - and that'll be it. I'll have to find something else to talk about.

That means this blog will become useless to me. There's not space in the masthead to change the title again, and anyway, I can't think of another word that fits into the rhythm. ("Employed Rhapsody"? No.) Then there's the label set, which is specifically university-related, and which will become unmanageably large if I start adding other types of labels to it. And the layout, and the colour, and the gimmick of titling all my posts with song lyrics - no, there's just too much to change. Better to make a clean break.

Also, because of my job, I won't be able to contribute much to discussions about economics from next year. You can see I'm going to have to find a way to change direction a bit.

For the next few months I'll dual-blog here and at litblog (there's a new widget in the sidebar to help my four readers keep up with litblog from here), and then I'll close this and take all my blogging over there. This blog will remain online as a static archive as long as Google and I both see fit.

Reserve Rhapsody? Bankers Rhapsody?

My already sporadic blogging became even more so when I ceased studenthood. Alas. Although this means I have more to talk about when I catch up with people, because they haven't heard about all the things I didn't blog about :-)

That's not really a problem I have; the sets of {people who read my blogs} and {people with whom I regularly converse} have an intersection of... one. For loose definitions of "regularly".
